The view outside my patio door |
It is COLD here in Laramie! And snowy. But it is nice and cozy here in the house and I finally feel like having Christmas music on. Still working on customer quilts and my new machine is almost set up. Rudi works on it every evening and it might be all together this evening. (fingers crossed)
|
Day Two of setup |
But I am excited for my new machine and look forward to finishing up the customer quilts on it. For now I am using my Prodigy and it is working just fine. I just got used to computerized quilting with my Avante and the Prodigy is not computerized so my body is not thanking me. ;) That and I have to move the couch out of the way so that I can quilt! LOL!

HQ Fusion (24") with Pro Stitcher |
It is too cold to start moving stuff from the garage into the container but we hope to get that done this weekend. And then the construction will begin for the new Studio! Since this is my first experience with construction, I am looking forward to the challenge. But why do people look at me with pity and tell me to *be patient*??? Do they know something I don't? I have full trust in our contractor and since I have patience by the boatload I do look forward to the experience. And the end result will be my little piece of HEAVEN! :)
REMIND ME OF THIS IF THINGS GET TOUGH ;)
