*Whooters* quilt is finished!
I loved every single minute of making this little baby quilt for my first grandchild. It will be sent off to Canada this week and my hubby has threatened to hide it..he just loves it. It really is very endearing.
This is the first time I used cotton/bamboo batting and I LOVE it! It quilted like a dream, shrivelled up delightfully after washing and is very cuddly and soft. And yet the borders are stable with no rippling at all. I will use this batting for all my baby quilts and probably for several other quilts! This little quilt is heavily quilted and it is still very soft and cuddly.

Absolutely lovely! I don't know that I would be able to part with it - you'll have to visit often so that you can see it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot! NO pun intended! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is darling and the recipient is a very lucky little one.
I love your owl quilts! I don't know how you can part with the little owlettes. I think I'd have to make another one to keep.
